I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) – International Renewable Energy Certificate (Green Energy). Is an energy attribute certificate (EAC) to certify the amount of electricity used from renewable energy. Helps bring benefits to the environment and distinguish it from other non-renewable energy sources. And 1 I-REC = 1 MWh of renewable electricity.
